We invited Rabbits Road Press in for a creative exchange; friendship as a structure for working. Rabbits Road Press is a community Risograph print studio and publishing press founded and run by OOMK. The small-scale publishing press provides printing and book binding services for artists and community groups in Newham and beyond, alongside a responsive programme of workshops and events.
Rabbits Road Press shared their experiences and knowledge, which informed the shape of our public art school. While the materials of our organisations are different, we collaborated to discuss the similarities in ethos and aims of our activities, and discuss co-operative working methodologies. In exchange, we helped them produce a range of bowls and mugs to use during their summer school.
